One of the things I notice about Filipina women is that we oftentimes shy away from make overs such as having our hair coloured. One of the reasons I assume is because we really aren’t 100% sure if a certain hair color will look good on us. Aminin! Unlike in the other side of the world, changing hair color from blonde to brunette to red or even crazy blue hair is just as normal as changing clothes. Well you know what? It’s time we feel the same and L’Oreal Professionnel is giving us the opportunity to wear our colour proud!
Filipinas deserve to have their beauty brought out and developed the best way possible. With this, Filipinas everywhere will be empowered to showcase their looks and character. As the leading provider of hair color in the Philippine salon industry, it is L’Oreal Professionnel’s advocacy to be able to provide all Filipinas the best hair color using the right hair color brand for them and we want to do this through proper consultation and diagnosis. It is our aim to be able to educate hairstylists on the science of proper skin tone diagnosis to give all types of Filipina – mestiza, morena or chinita- the hair color that suit them best.
This is why we launched the Wear Your Color Proud Campaign. Through this initiative, we intend to bring back proper consultation and diagnosis in the salon. The campaign targets to create a discussion between the hairstylists and their clients on what color would go best with any Filipina skin tone. An integral part of this campaign is the Color Consultation Diagnosis Guideand Training to aid both the hairstylists and their clients based onthe latter’s skin tone as well as a clear understanding of L’OrealProfessionnel’s color brands for the clients’ preference. With areliable education tool and guided consultation and diagnosis with the hairstylist, the Filipina client is now given the power to properly choose the hair color that will suit her best, allowing her to have informed control over the hair color she wants to achieve. This collaborative effort will also make the client feel more comfortable over her decision, giving her a boost of confidence and satisfaction.
#ProudMorena
