When I was a kid, I was one of the boys. I remember playing wrestling, basketball, and all kinds of other rough slash boyish activities with my cousins. I was fond of comics and superheroes. The characters and stories were a hit to me that I wished I had super power, yes kahit isa lang. For me, Superman was the ultimate. I mean come on, who doesn’t like him?
One of the superhero cartoons I watched growing up.
I know it’s Sunday but it kinda feels like a throwback Thursday or a flashback Friday to me. Eh gawin kaya nating senti Sabado or senti Sunday? π
As what was written on my bio, I am a cartoons freak. I love watching them while I eat sweets! Yes, I have a sweet tooth teeth LOL. Speaking of sweets, one of my all-time favorite chocolates is Crunch. I remember back in the 90s, (yes, reminisce) pillows with chocolate packaging designs were uso, I even asked my parents to buy me the Nestle Crunch.
Cute no? Well, my sister got one and I eventually owned it. Heehee.
Whenever I watch a movie, no fail that I always buy a snack. Actually, snacks. Memorize na ni Mr. GJG that it is mandatory that we drop by the snack bar for my fix of goodies. It’s usually popcorn and sweets. I just had to have a combination of saltiness and sweetness. Thankfully, there’s almost always Nestle Crunch in most movie houses that we go to. Whenever I get what I want, Mr. GJG would always mock me and say: “Ayan na, happy na ang bata.” Ummm, Yes, yes I am because I am shallow like that! π
Of course golf course! Watching cartoons and eating sweets always bring the out the kid inside me. Speaking of superheroes, I am actually very excited to watch the latest Superman movie, Man Of Steel.
In fairness talaga, all those who portray the role of Clark Kent/Superman are all gwapo! π

What activity or food brings out the kid in you? π
– Munching on Nestle Crunch (and Kimy Swirl Ice cream haha) with the cousins and siblings! I remember we love chocolates so much that we’d eat it even during the summer that the chocolates melt already and during our swimming and sleepover at Granma’s. We still do it until now, and good thing Granma lets us munch Nestle Crunch while watching Disney movies in her bedroom, kahit na malalaki na kami at malapit nang hindi magkasya sa room nya!! Good times!

I’d say gummy bears and ice cream bring out the kid in me. Everytime I’m feeling blue or I’m at the peak of happiness, I always crave for something gummy or any brand of ice cream π
