Three new brands join the SM Kids Fashion roster- Maui and Sons, Elle and Nautica. In line with getting the word out about this exciting news, SM Kids Fashion showcased their summer 2014 collection. The garden party theme was very apt for summer as it speaks highly of colors and patterns. The event was held last week at Shine Bakery in SM Aura, Taguig City. I, together with two of my fellow SoMoms got first dibs on their latest summer collection.
Here I am with Cai (and daughter Y) of Apples & Dumplings and Tin of Manila Fashion Observer.
Before revealing their summer collection, there were games where all the guests were encouraged to participate. First, we played Pictionary. It’s a guessing game where one of the guests (who was an ex-cartoonist and I think now works for a newspaper or print) volunteered to draw so that the rest of the us could guess. I guessed first but I didn’t answer correctly, instead of “bikini” I said “swimsuit” medyo strict sila no? Heehee. Keri lang.
This was my “but-bikini-is-a-swimsuit-naman” look! 😉
Can you guess what this is? Dapat specific ha. Yes. Board shorts! Galing lang? Look at the attention to detail! Good thing I didn’t volunteer to draw kasi puro stick figures lang kaya ko! Heehee.
Then we had to look for a sticker under the tables in order to participate in the next game. Swerte ko lang kasi there’s one directly under where I was seated.
It was a trivia game where we had to answer questions that were of course, about SM Kids Fashion.
So I was able to guess naman 3 out of 4 but I wasn’t quick enough to answer and Michelle of Mrs. Martinez beat me to it.
After the fun games, we witnessed the unveiling of SM Kids Fashion Summer 2014 collection through a mini fashion show.

Surfer dudes, Maui & Sons is now available under SM Kids Fashion. I kinda felt nostalgic seeing the surfer shark as M&S was quite popular during my childhood.
Can’t wait to get some of the summer 2014 pieces from SM Kids Fashion for my kids!
