It’s that time of the year again where we Make Your Own Havainas! Now on it’s 10th year- has it already been a decade?! I’m now on my 4th year creating my own pair and each year it gets better and more fun! You can read my previous MYOH 2012, 2013 and 2014. This year, Havaianas takes us to Hawaii with a luau party at Glorietta 2. I attended the launch yesterday and I am to excited to share what happened.
Surf’s Up lang ang peg. I suddenly want to surf again. I’ve first tried surfing seven years ago pre-marriage and pre-baby! Now I think I’m ready to give it a shot again, bilang my core is more stable and my vertigo more manageable. Naks. Haaay when oh when?! In the meantime, hanggang poser surfer girl na lang muna ako. Heehee.
There’s Lulu DK Tattoos stations! They even have LuluDKxHavaianas temp tats!
Funny coz I was already wearing a few tats na but this didn’t stop me from getting more. According to Marielle and Jhann who assisted me with my Luludk, I must do daw the blogger pose. Heehee.
To pile up, I added two more strips of hibiscus and a topped the bunch with a cute pineapple. Hihihi.
One of the host for this year’s MYOH2015 is MTV VJ Aryanna Epperson with mom and fellow blogger, Jenni Epperson.
Also spotted Paula Peralejo-Fernandez with husband Charlie and sister Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio and her super kyooooot son, Philip Bo.
The traditional wheel of fortune este wheel of fit flops! There are so many combinations but so hard to choose what to get.
So many cute pins this year too!
Don’t know your size? Place your right foot to know what size works for you.
When I’m given more than a handful of choices, I panic. My being indecisive always seem to get the best of me. So to help me with this dilemma, I created my pairs online.
My first choice because I am always attracted to green.
I also created another pair. The light pink strap looks good with the commemorative pair don’t you think? You can customise your own pair online HERE.
The official distributor of Havaianas, TSA Group headed by Anne Gonzales gave a quick welcome remark. Here she was alongside Ammiel De Leon, director for brand development group of TSA. Congratulations again Anne on the 10th year of MYOH!
So here’s what I got. Pins ba kamo?!
Each one of these pins represents something in my life. It can as simple as loving coffee and burger to wishing I can be a beach bum forever! Heehee.
The Titas are out to create our own Havaianas pair! Cai, Karrots with son Lucas, Tin and yours truly.
I love that it’s not crowded this year. The event was more relax and more steady. Look at the assemblers ready for Havainaticos!
Meet my assembler Migi. It’s his first time to join MYOH. He’s one of Janice’s son, Coby’s friend. He’s pretty excited and nervous at the same time.
Lucky me I’m his first client.
Yahoo, Migi made it! Congratulations on creating your first pair. Hindi ka naman pinawisan noh? Heehee. Thank you!
Love my new Havaianas pair. 😀
I’m ready for Hawaii! Heehee.
Check out was breeze. No lines at all. Hi Tita K!
Rima wearing a Havaianas pair and showing off her new pair. Congratulations Rima on your engagement and so nice to see you again!
With my sole-mates all smiles after the fun launch. Thanks again Havaians for having us. Congratulations again Anne & the people behind Terry S.A.
Here’s a closer look at my new pair. I opted for the aubergine strap instead of the pink or green one. And I’m glad I did. 🙂 As for the pins, let’s just say I had too much fun picking them.
I got a personalised pin just for me. Yay! 🙂
Make Your Own Havaianas is happening tomorrow until Sunday at Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City and at selected Havaianas stores nationwide.
