We moms are
born great shoppers. We tend to search for bargains and deals, scouting every possible store for unique finds at reasonable prices and I have to say, department stores have always been our favorite don’t you agree? It’s a one stop shop where we can get most of the things we need. From home, to our children, even for our husbands and ourselves.
Last week, I got invited by the lovely people of Metro Department Store to take a peek at their latest offerings. I am quite familiar with Metro. Back when I had a store in Market! Market! I would swing by MDS (Metro Department Store) and shop. Now that I’m revisiting, (parang balikbayan levelz lang bilang Taguig is some kinda far away from where I live) I’m sharing with you all how you can find treasures shopping at Metro Department Store.
We’ve always imagined our future home to have a zen corner. These decors would pretty much fit the Asian inspired corner we’ve been dreaming of.
More decors for the home. Loving the faux planter boxes that you can use as your dining table or living room table centerpiece.
If you’re into anything vintage, then these Marilyns & Audreys are perfect for you.
MDS also has appliances and tons of cook ware and the like. What caught my attention was these affordable baking pans which are priced the lowest compared to what I’ve seen from other stores.
Got an al fresco in your home? Spruce it up with these elements.
Loving the bar carts! Yaya, one glass of lemonade please! Ay shucks, ako din pala yun yaya. Hahaha.
Now if you’re someone who likes having her clothes tailored, (especially evening and formal wear) then you should start shopping at Metro Department Store. Why? Because they have the nicest and cheapest fabrics ever! Do these lace fabrics look familiar to you? Yep. These are similar as those you see in popular branded clothing stores. A yard of this beauty is only at Php 480, you can have a dress made with two yards or less (depending on how short you want it) If you remember Project Runway Philippines Season 1, they used to shop at Metro Department Store in Market! Market! for their fabrics. Designer levelz!
Aaah, I think I’m obsessed with sequins! These fabrics immediately caught my attention. A yard of this gorgeous is only at Php 900. Three yards of this and a good tailor are all you need to create that stunning evening gown. Now why would you spend Php10,000 or more for a designer evening gown when you can have one made for a fraction of its price? Now I really want to find a good tailor so I can have all the clothes that I want made! Heehee.
For the OC woman who lives in a condominium or a small space and is semi-addicted to storage containers, then you’ll enjoy Metro Department Store’s ongoing promo.
So go ahead an run to the nearest Metro Department Store near you! Storage Solutions Sale is until March 31, 2014 only. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😉
They also have a 5-day sale of up to 50% on selected items! Go shop na!
I can’t wait to feature the kids’ and ladies’ section of Metro Department Store next, so please wait for my post about them.
