We’re the kind of couple who really don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day in a cheesy, clingy way. Maybe we just dislike the commercial feeling V Day brings or the fact that what we do on a regular date basis is what most couples only do during that special day- dine at a nice restaurant, watch a movie or have a good massage. Yet the air of love, romantic gestures, heart-shaped and red things everywhere bring out our feels-like-high-school-all-over-again selves. But since we like to be different, this year we’re celebrating it in an unusual way, which I shall chika next time. For now, I’m sharing with you all the wonderful treat Sofitel Manila gave to Mr. GJG and I.
Sofitel planned a few hours of pampering for us at Le Spa as a pre-Valentine’s treat! We had the Oasis Package that includes a 90-minute Filipino Pride massage and a 30-minute Purity facial using Themae Paris products.
Before we started our treatment, we had a quick foot rinse that involves some scrubbing & massaging.
Our very own bath tub and sauna (not in photo). I could stay in this all day.
If you think our room was cool, wait ’til you learn there’s a door leading to a veranda that has a lovely view.
Our room’s veranda opens up to the swimming pool and garden area of Sofitel.
On the left is Manila Bay. What a beautiful view.
Shempre selfie bago mag sunset! 😉
Thank you so much to my Sofitel family, most specially to Jane and Blessy for the lovely afternoon of pampering at Le Spa! We super love Sofitel! We actually frequent this hotel and have spent two Valentine’s dining at Spiral. We’ll definitely be back!
