Japanese food is something my family & I eat regularly. It’s no secret that it’s one of the cuisines I cannot resist which is why when we went to Japan last Christmas, I indulged over Japanese meals available in convenience stores. I remember wishing we had an option like that here in Manila. While that might be far-fetched from now I’m glad Japanese restaurants like Teriyaki Boy offers take out trays that I can serve to my family in a jiffy.
Most Friday nights we cuddle and stay home and usually it’s the day of the week I take a break from cooking. So I had these Teriyaki Boy take out trays delivered instead.
Tofu Steak, Php 210
Breaded silken tofu wrapped in beef strips with Teriyaki Sauce. Topped with onions.
Gyoza, Php 285
Also known as potstickers. Japanese pork dumplings, steamed and seared until crisp, served with a tangy soy-based dipping sauce.
Teriyaki Boy Chicken (Japanese Feast Tray), Php 1,550
Succulent boneless chicken, marinated and cooked with our very own Teriyaki Boy sauce.
Fun fact: when I was pregnant with Gabbie, I would ask for a Teriyaki Boy Chicken Don almost everyday. I liked even before I was pregnant and liked it more during my pregnancy with Gabbie. Up until now it’s still my favorite.
Sushi Platter, Php 845
A combination of 10 different rolls and Sushi– California roll, Tamago Sushi, Maguro Sushi, Shake Sushi, Kani Sashimi, Philly Cheese Steak Roll, Dynamite Roll, Maguro Maki, Shake Maki, Cucumber Maki.
I love sushi & rolls so this was definitely something I enjoyed!
I really love the convenience of ordering food because it lets me enjoy meals with my family more (no cooking and cleaning up after for me!) especially on Friday nights when my family & I want to just stay home and chill. On our next Friday night in, I’m planning on ordering the other Feast Tray sets naman. What’s your favorite from Teriyaki Boy?
