Incorporating fitness into my life was an easy decision yet a tricky thing to do. After much decoding, I narrowed it down to three things which got me started on working out. As I said in the post, sometimes a little motivation goes a long way. Two of the motivations that keep me going is knowing all the hard work of trying to be fit will eventually pay off, especially when I’m older. And as shallow as it sounds, having the right workout gear is enough reason to drag my lazy self to the gym. Having the privilege of trying out things that can further help me achieve my fitness goals is something I’m really grateful for.
So when I received this carefully wrapped package from Skechers, I was super eager to unbox it.

It has Goga Mat Technology™ that cushions the sole of your feet, like they’re carefully cradled on a fluffy cloud.
It’s designed to let your feet rest on the super squishy soft yoga mat foot bed.
The timing couldn’t be better as I needed to replace my gym shoes. The eager beaver me immediately tried Skechers GOwalk 2 for my afternoon workout.
I like how lightweight and comfy it feels on my feet. I’m not used to not feeling the floor beneath me so I was kinda giddy to walk more than I usually do. Heehee.
Wearing it felt like my feet are softly planted on a field of cotton. I cannot believe it’s super lambot (soft).
The discreet navy blue contrasted with a hint of hot pink makes it girly enough yet practical to pair & wear. I particularly appreciate how it comes with an extra white pair of shoe lace should I get tired of the combination.

If you think wearing this lave up shoes is only for the gym, then you’re not thinking right. Here’s a quick OOTD I took as I was preparing myself for a full day of errands around the metro. I have no time to change my shoes so I decided to wear it to my errands day where I had to go to three different malls, attend a casual meeting & a quick workout in the gym.
While this style my not be for everyone to wear casually, still, this didn’t stop me from wearing it on an active day especially on days when I run around like a headless chicken- running errands, finishing chores, and managing deadlines.
I swear, I can walk all day in this. It’s by far the comfiest rubber shoes I’ve tried and owned.
See, the overachiever step master me needs to do 10,000 steps a day. If this mean walking around in circles like a dog chasing its tail then a dog I shall be! But this doesn’t mean my feet need to suffer. Now that I have Skechers GOwalk 2, I am more motivated to reach my daily step goal. 10,000 steps a day? Let’s do this!
Why have I only discovered Skechers GOwalk 2?!
Now I can’t stop walking.
I don’t really compromise comfort over style, although there are some incidents where I need to, all for the sake of work or fashion. Still, why would I torture myself from enjoying the simple joy of such comforts my feet can indulge on? I love that Skechers GOwalk 2 motivates me not only to be fit and active but also to be simultaneously stylish.
If I could, I would get these other Skechers GOwalk 2.
